Our History

OUR BEGINNINGS
The Gart story began in 1928 with Nathan Gart selling warm gear, fishing supplies, and hunting supplies in a pawn shop in Downtown Denver. Four generations, many partnerships and business ventures later, we continue to grow and evolve.

Mark Sidell joins Gart Properties as strategic leader

GP Acquires the Denver Pavilions – Two iconic retail blocks on the 16th Street Mall in Downtown Denver. Second investment with ING as the institutional partner

Gart Properties raises The Gart Opportunity Fund, a discretionary equity fund targeting value-add real estate investments
